Au Revior

For some time now, most of the links I've been posting on this site using zippyshare and sendspace were getting deleted pretty quick. So I decided to try google drive. Then the other day I got an email from google saying that several of my links were in violation of copyrights (I removed them right away). Funny thing, the albums were not in print, nor had they ever been reissued (one, Johnny Koonce, came out in '83 and is beyond obscure). On top of this, I just got an email from PayPal saying they were terminating my account because I had a DONATE button on my page. So it's one big mess. I need PayPal, obviously, for lots of things, including my Bandcamp page. All this for a site I did out of a labor of love. Sheesh.

So other than links to my Bandcamp page, that's it for Mondo Exploito. I just want to thank those of you who left positive comments and/or contributed in some way. I hope the music I've shared over the last six years has made your lives a little brighter in these dark times. It's been real ...

  7. I've seen this happen so many times with so many sites. And it's always a drag, especially when the site makes available music that you can no longer buy anywhere, as yours did.

Thanks for everything. We'll miss you.

  9. You're a gentleman and a scholar, and taught me much about music. The sheer variety you offered over the years is astounding, and I am a richer listener because of your work. Thank you, and God bless you in any future endeavors. All the best.

  13. I think we all knew this was bound to happen. Thank you E for posting so many albums over the years and you helping us find some nice vinyl treasures. I hope I did my part from time to time to help in my own small way to keep the blog afloat financially and by adding my two cents. Much obliged and grateful and still am for all you do.

  14. Oh no, not another one.
When will they learn that by closing down sites that upload mostly out of print music they don't help the industry and/or the artists? When will they realize that by doing that they actually kill music and condemn artist to oblivion? When will they understand that there's no official institution to promote a music legacy that would otherwise be lost for good?
    Someone should close down THEM.
Thanks for everything. You have great taste and uploaded some really obscure and hard to find music. We all owe you for that. You donated more to us than any silly button could possibly make up for.
Good luck to whatever you do in your life and if you ever feel like dropping a line I'd be honored.
It's not the end, just a new beginning.

  16. Dammit E, hate to see these dirty cheap-shots by no talent ass-clowns.
Totally understand your decision, a being of sophistication can only tolerate so much greasy kid stuff....
...and it is true that every end is a new beginning.
That'd be nice, cause it all looks dark and about to get even more dangerous.
Thank you so much for everything bro, from the heart, you've been a true bright light in an evil sold-out world. Shields Up Surf's Up. See you down the Trail :)
A parting pair of dark mixes,

and a final Judgment for the evil liars.

  17. You had great shares and were a great source for shares from myself and others. Now the internet glows less brightly.
