Harpo's Blues
Recorded in 2009, "Harpo's Blues" was done mostly under the influence and is likely my most peculiar, hazy, and experimental album. It is a clear extension of what I was after while making its predecessor, "The Friendship Ring." It is also what I consider the last of a sextet of records I made during this period.

A Sentimental Education

Years from now, if I am still around, if someone should ask me how I spent my time during the Plague of 2020, I'll say I worked hard at documenting my thoughts and feelings by writing songs that capture as best I could this moment in time. Yeah, I know, it's probably not the best idea to release so much material in such a short period. But because I am unfettered by convention and because I am unconstrained by expectation, I find myself in the unique position of being able to follow my own instincts, muse, and truths, which reside well outside of the commercial marketplace and contemporary culture. To paraphrase BD, I got nothing so I got nothing to lose. These are for you, then, fellow travelers.
