For anyone who might not have noticed, each of these albums that I post on a nearly weekly basis have a particular thematic thread running through them. Taken together, they form a sort of fluid aural novel of a time (which is now) and a place (which is right here). "Mayfly" draws on a year and half spent in isolation, and the experiences of extreme physical pain, a deepening depression, familial discord, and intense psychotherapy. Happy listening.
